Black Hawk County Health Department
In addition to providing information on children’s oral health care and children’s Hawki insurance, Black Hawk County Public Health will be offering free STI and HIV screenings and children’s lead testing. Attendees are also encouraged to stop by our booth for more information on completing a community survey to help determine the health needs of our community.

Black Hawk County Public Health was established as a full service agency in 1969 under the authority of Chapter 137 of the Code of Iowa. In March 2022, the department achieved national accreditation from the Public Health Accreditation Board. Black Hawk County Public Health helps people live healthier lives through prevention, promotion, and protection.
