Julie Lopez is originally from Moline, Illinois, of the Quad Cities where she worked as an Account Manager for KWQC-TV6, the NBC affiliate for 18 years. During that time, she worked with small, medium, and large businesses. She enjoys meeting new people and helping businesses grow through strategic marketing plans, and she especially likes working with small business owners to find out what their goals and objectives are. Julie understands that every business has different plans. While there are some that want to grow, there are also others that are fine staying at the status quo. Relationships are a critical part of her job, and she has gained meaningful friendships from many clients she has worked with over the years. Her past clients from the Quad Cities have even contacted her a few times to get her thoughts on a particular marketing plan they are considering. She joined KWWL in November 2019 and has been eager to become part of Cedar Rapids and the surrounding communities. Julie lives in Cedar Rapids, and she has two daughters, one son, two grandsons and two granddaughters. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, traveling and riding her horse.
