Gabby Barnett was born and raised in Waterloo, IA. She attended the University of Northern Iowa and graduated in 2013 with a major in Communication and a minor in Public Relations. After graduation, Gabby went to work for a national advertising agency where she became an experienced Media Buyer, specializing in the automotive industry. She has experience in buying network TV, cable, radio, print & billboards. She has bought media in markets all across the U.S., such as Las Vegas, La Crosse-Eau Claire, Cincinnati, Pittsburg, Fresno-Visalia & Des Moines-Ames just to name a few. Gabby joined KWWL in March of 2020 and looks forward to bringing her media buying experience to her role as an Account Manager. She looks forward to partnering with local businesses, understanding their goals & putting together a strategic plan that will deliver results. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family & friends, taking her dog on walks, hanging out by the pool in the summer & cheering on the Green Bay Packers! Gabby and her husband have three sons that keep them on their toes. One of the greatest joys in her life is being a mom, and she jokes that she’s glad she’s always been able to keep up with the boys!
