More than 30 years of Don Morehead's over 50-year career in broadcasting has been spent right in the Cedar Rapids-Waterloo-Dubuque-Iowa City area. Having joined the KWWL team in 2006, Don's media background extends beyond the television arena. Don also brings to KWWL extensive experience in the areas of radio, print, outdoor and video production, having been involved in the ownership and/or management of numerous media ventures in Iowa, Nebraska, Texas, and Virginia. As National Sales Manager, Don's responsibilities primarily focus on station clients based outside of the State of Iowa. He works with contracted sellers in 13 sales offices around the country. Additionally, he acts as the primary point-person for all political advertising at the station. Don has also been actively involved in numerous industry and community organizations either currently or past serving as an officer or board member of the Iowa Broadcasters Association, the Waterloo Convention and Visitors Bureau, Junior Achievement of Blackhawk Land, Inc., and Sons of Jacob Synagogue, to name just a few. He is also an active pilot. For relaxation, Don enjoys travel, politics, the arts and spending time with his family and friends.
